Online Simulation Events
Online Simulation Events are multi-team, competitive simulations conducted via the Internet with support and coaching from KnowledgeWorking consultants. Teams from various companies or from within the same company participate virtually in these open or in-house learning experiences. The ultimate goal for all participants is to enhance their skills within a dynamic and competitive environment. Companies entering teams in tournaments save on travel and facilities cost while retaining the benefits of experiential learning.

Using Learning in Virtual Worlds
|
![]() |
Perhaps the most important and strongest feature of virtual worlds like Second Life is the ability to create training simulations. They can target both "soft skills" (teamwork, leadership, sales, etc.), and technical skills (equipment training, technical support and others). Simulations can be used by a group of participants from different locations. Moreover, participants can later review their actions step by step, critique their actions and learn from their mistakes. Additional benefit of simulations is the ability to record all actions and produce objective measurable results both on individual and team level.
- New hire orientation / onboarding in virtual worlds packages
- Ready-to-go Second Life training simulations
- Creation of customized environments for training and custom training simulations in virtual worlds
- Second Life concept development / project management
- On-site Second Life presentations and seminar
